"Yom Kippur Interlude"

CLOSED

for praying to the Deity for my life.

Or alternatively,

CLOSED

for praying to a  non-existent entity for my life.

Which is equally - or arguably more than equally -

bizarre.

I cannot help reprising a brief holiday anecdote.

My older brother had a high school classmate named Roman Dakishin, who hated school so much he took off everyone's religious holidays.  When his teacher asked him why he'd missed school the day before, which happened to be the Day of Atonement, the shameless Dakishin replied,

"Jewish holiday, sir.  Ka Yipper."
